- Palm leave’s irregular texture is part of the fiber’s natural charm; it also highlights the special savoir-faire required to weave it. Never use solvents. Dry the piece immediately with a soft, dry cloth so that the palm leaves fibers do not absorb water and swell. Finally, if your piece comes into contact with corrosives such as sand or salt, clean it gently with a soft-bristled brush.
